We do not collect names, photos, locations, contacts, payment info, or any content created by children.

We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain your Genie account
- Customize learning experiences and screen time features
- Improve the app’s reliability and performance
- Support customer service when you contact us
We do not use data for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Payment Information
Payments and subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, using a trusted third-party service called RevenueCat.
Mindsmith Apps LLC does not collect or store your payment details.
All billing and payment data are managed securely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
5. How We Protect Data
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Because Genie does not store personal data beyond what’s necessary for account access, your privacy risk is kept minimal.
6. COPPA Compliance (Children Under 13)
Genie follows the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) to ensure a safe experience for children under 13.
- Only parents or guardians (18+) can create accounts.
- A parent manages all child profiles and controls how Genie is used.
- We collect only limited, non-personal data from children (age and usage).
- We do not collect personal identifiers, location, or content from children.

7. Sharing Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We only share limited data when necessary to operate the app:

We retain your data only as long as your account is active.
When you delete your account (or request deletion), all associated personal and child data are permanently removed, except where legally required to retain limited records (e.g., billing history).
